Stephansplatz

I finally did something touristy. As a result, I saw a lot of Asians. The end.

Haha, nah. But I did see A LOT of Asians (specifically Chinese people). In fact, there was a huge group of school kids from China (or Taiwan, I guess). It was rather surprising.

Anyway, as you can probably tell from the title of this post, I ventured over to the Stephansplatz today (home of the Stephansdom). It was really beautiful and extremely crowded, but definitely a cool place to visit/hang out. I just love the architecture here. It's so intricate and interesting to look at. Even all the stores are really beautiful since they're inside these fantastic buildings (the H&M had an amazing swirly-type staircase and it was basically decked out in fancy lights and mahogany wood-- snazzy).

It got progressively cloudier/overcast as the afternoon wore on which was kind of disappointing for photo taking purposes, but that's alright.

...Now I have to pack/organize stuff for Munich tomorrow. I'm a bit concerned because I have no idea how the train ticket works or anything. Plus I don't know what is happening with the rest of the people who are going to Munich from Prague (or if they even are going still). I guess we'll find out!

Ooh... pretty. (And I don't see any Asian tourists in the pictures, hehe. Good job.) Just wondering, if you had to compare the prevalence of H&M's there to any store here, what would it be most like?
Also, it'd be helpful if you could describe ever so briefly what, say, Stephansplatz/Stephansdom/places/important things you think we know about actually are in posts, cause I have no idea what they are (without Google, anyways). Indulge my cultural ignorance.
...when do classes start for you?

Okay, so the photographs you are taking make me supremely jealous and I have decided that I will take it upon myself to stalk your blog daily (aren't you flattered?) XD. Anyway, I wanted to comment yesterday but got distracted. And today I don't really remember what I was planning to say. So really, this comment is pretty much pointless aside from the fact that I just wanted to tell you that I am jealous. That I hope you get really fat from all the delicious nutella-flavored things. And that I hope you meet less Asian people and more awesome people instead. And now it will be less creeperish to go up to random people and ask them to speak to you in German because you can do so under the pretense of you being a student studying abroad XD. That is all.

Amy: Thanks :P. Oh gosh... umm, I'd say McDonald's? In Munich, I was walking down this big shopping street and there were seriously 5 H&Ms within a 2 minute walk. Maybe H&M here is even more prevalent than McDonald's back home... I don't know. (Interesting thing: They call McDonald's "McDo" here). Yeah, good idea. I'll definitely do that. Classes begin Feb. 28th (bleh).

Julie: Hahaha, thanks. I'm quite flattered xD. Well... yeah, okay, I was basically not going to spend any money on food and save it all for traveling, but heck, there is so much good food. I'm hoping all the walking will cancel out everything I consume though. HAHA. I'm trying. Somehow I have not met many Austrians though, which is ironic.

haha Jeanette sorry I been so late on ur blog thing so I am starting from the beginning i guess but sort of going to read backward for feburary then move to march.

WOW I really really love the photos, each of them look like pieces of art! the architecture is really amazing there and all the history behind it. o my goodness that is so wonderful that I what interests me too actually. In comparison to Singapore it is quite the difference since Singapore is very modern and so are the architectures!
