Overall, it was really nice to just walk through the "empty" Innere Stadt. It was so quiet so every time the shutter clicked, it sounded ridiculously loud and I felt like a creeper. However, I really wanted to capture what I saw, heh. The light coming through the clouds bathed the buildings in some really gorgeous light, which made for a rather surreal experience (being half-asleep might have helped). I wish the photos could reflect everything exactly as I saw it, but I guess that's more or less impossible. Oh well. I tried?

Yeah, so I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. At least I didn't stay up for nothing :D. Unfortunately, now my sleeping schedule is really messed up. I didn't sleep until 7:30AM or so... which basically puts me back into CST back home, haha.

Oooh, I like the first one. And the later ones. Yeah, all of them. But the first one caught me as a first impression. The colors of the sky in the second one. The buildings all look like they're glowing! (pleaseplease don't tell me that was mildly edited in.)
Haha, yeah, the first one is my favourite too. That was what I had intended to shoot when I left that morning. The others were just... for the heck of it. And no, that's the best part -- I only had to stitch the photos together basically; the sun did the rest of the work (and I guess whatever stone/material they used to build the buildings).
